through a connection with a CGU area manager who had left to work for this brokerage and
already knew that The Bureau had done good work for other CGU Club Elite brokers. They were
predominantly commercial although had a high-net-worth property product.

Truman Insurance Brokers

Truman Insurance Brokers were based in Hackbridge in Surrey and another early CGU Club Elite
broker signed up after the Croydon Workshop in August 1999. They arranged commercial and
personal lines insurance policies with no particular specialisms.

Tubbs Insurance Services’ traces its roots back to 1906 when G.B. Tubbs & Co was founded in

Addlestone. In 1966 the business moved to its present location in West Byfleet, in Surrey. Having
attended a CGU Club Elite Roadshow, Tubbs asked The Bureau for
a follow-up meeting at which they ordered their Website in July 2000.

They offered a selection of commercial and personal lines insurance
adding new features and facilities in the years that followed and
belonged to the COBRA Network.

Under 35s Re-insurance Group

Under 35s Re-insurance Group were introduced to The Bureau by another client called Stennings
Insurance Brokers, mentioned early in the S’s and had The Bureau design their first Website in

July 2001. They are a membership group of employees under the age of 35 who work of Lloyds

and the London Re-insurance market. They are a not-for-profit group whose Website, Domain and
email services The Bureau set-up for them on discounted terms. The Website is used to promote
the Under 35s Re-insurance Group, educational trips abroad and City based reinsurance talks and
visits to commercial law courts.
