Stennings Insurance Brokers in Folkstone, East Sussex came on board from a CGU Club Elite
Internet Roadshow in July 1999. They had a financial services arm as well as being general insurance
brokers arranging commercial and private clients’ insurance. They also introduced The Bureau to
The Under35s Reinsurance Group for whom The Bureau later designed their first Website that still
runs today at www.under35s.com.

Stewart Miller McCullough in Oldbury in West Midlands were another early customer who signed-up
in March 1999. They were one The Bureau’s early leads it visited whilst seeing another firm close by.
This brokerage was a typical general brokerage selling commercial and personal lines insurance but
who also arranged specialist cover for pubs, restaurants and hotels. The Bureau arranged the
registration of their Domains and the creation of their first and second Website. They are also
associated to their subsidiary business called Peter James Insurance, mentioned in the P’s.

Strand (Life and Pensions) Limited

Strand (Life and Pensions) Limited, in Farnham in Surrey, asked The Bureau in July 2000 to design a
multi-page Website including the usual home, welcome and contact pages along with pages for their
financial services life assurance, critical illness, school fees, pensions, and investments and savings
facilities. Added to this was scheme for a ‘Right Dress and Household’ insuring army personnel
Worldwide for their home contents Worldwide.

Sturdy Edwards (Insurance Brokers) Limited

Sturdy Edwards (Insurance Brokers) Limited in East Grinstead, West Sussex asked The Bureau to
design their Website following a chance meeting at local networking event in June 2018. They arrange
commercial insurance for business continuity, construction companies, renewable energy and solar
panel installers and schools and charities. For private clients they insure, household buildings and
contents, including high-net-worth properties, along with a specialist household scheme insured
through the Salvation Army.
