WW Group based in Lutterworth, in Leicestershire, ordered a series of Websites from The Bureau
in 2006, one for a promotional Website under the URL of www.wwgroup-insurance.com which ran
their Agent Logins and was a general landing page for their broker clients. They also registered 4
specialist Domain names www.underwriting24-7.co.uk, www.highriskliability24-7.co.uk,
www.contractworks24-7.co.uk and www.liability24-7.co.uk under which they ran quote and buy
trading sites with full documentation and complex quotation routines.

XSPL

XSPL is a quote and buy trading platform
built and designed by The Bureau in 2005 for
GB Underwriting and mentioned earlier in the
G’s. G B Underwriting, based in Little Braxted
in Essex become a quote and buy Website in
September 2005. This was designed as a

‘Broker Portal’ for other firms, without specialist

lines agreements to trade off. The new online
trading platform was published under the
Domain name of www.xspl.co.uk now called
www.gb-online.biz The site has grown into a large
and comprehensive trading portal for brokers that
now number over 1000. The site received a 5 Star rating by Insurance Age in February 2008. Further
products have been added including contractors all risks, excess layer liability, and management
liability. This was The Bureau’s largest quote and buy project that is still running over 15 years later
and is by far the most complex quotation system it designed.
