They specialise in hire insurance for taxis, Hackney Carriage, mini-cabs, courier, mini-buses and
private hire insurances and nothing else. Since taxi drivers are seldom at a desktop computer screen
The Bureau introduced them the Facebook advertising. They had previously bought-in leads but
found having a Facebook advertising account a lot more cost eff ective!

G B Underwriting

G B Underwriting, based in Little Braxted in Essex become a quote and buy Website in September
2005. This was designed as a ‘Broker Portal’ for other brokerages without their own specialist lines

agreements with insurers to trade off. The new online trading platform was published under the
Domain name of www.xspl.co.uk now called www.gb-online.biz The site has grown into a large and
comprehensive trading portal for brokers that now number over 1000. The site received a 5 Star
rating by Insurance Age in February 2008. Further products have been added including contractors
all risks, excess layer liability, and management liability. This was The Bureau’s largest quote and buy
project that is still running and is by far the most complex quotation system it has designed.

Globe Insurance

Globe Insurance, based in Harrow North London, commissioned The Bureau to design a Website for
their property insurance service in March 2017 under the name ‘insure the property’. Their property

insurance is offered to landlords, commercial properties, tenant contents, owner occupiers along with
rent and legal protection services.

Goodwin Best, based in Oldham with a branch office in Lincoln called Lindum Insurance, ordered
their first Website in February 2000. They specialised in arranging insurance for marine, commercial

packages, motor fleet and contractors.
