Central Insurance in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire came from The Bureau’s Club Elite workshop at
St Johnstone’s football club, Perth in February 2000 and where CGU had their Pitheavlis Terrace offi ce.
Central Insurance was a big brokerage with strategic partners Unitas and WBN as well as many
commercial and private clients. They insured most commercial risks, particularly for the off shore oil
industry for which they had specialist schemes like their rope access insurance scheme for the

Charity Fairs was introduced to The Bureau by the Clear Group in February 2011, whose client
they were at the time. This was another one of The Bureau’s Quote and Buy services for a craft
fair insurance scheme for jewellers and gift shops to quote and buy set levels of insurance
indemnity protection.

Cherish Insurance Brokers commissioned The Bureau in May 2021 to publish a new quotation
service for static caravans and holiday park lodges. Under the banner of Goldpark Insurance the
site provides plenty of useful information on why to buy from them, FAQs, policy wordings,
disclaimers, claims details and two separate quotation forms.
